A lot of skill and effort had gone into every element of the dishes from individual components to presentation. Service was wonderful. “ A wonderful dining experience. We had the 7 course tasting menu (there were 7 of us). I am a pescatarian (eat fish but not meat) and they adapted the menu for me wonderfully. Each course was perfectly balanced and well executed. With my favourites being the Roast Celeriac Soup and Curried Cod Cheeks. Wine selection is extensive, and their wine pairing was tremendous. The staff were wonderful, attentive but also in the back ground, so as to not spoil the flow of conversation or be constantly interrupting. We will definitely be returning for their Al A Carte menu as this looked just as special. Couldn't recommend more highly! ”

The drinks menu was varied and there was a choice of non alcoholic drinks too! The tasting menu was fabulous. We enjoyed every dish and were generously plated. The celeriac veloute and coley fillet needed seasoning, but cooked perfectly! We had seats by the window, so enjoyed the Light Show at the Minster! The service was at a good speed and attentive. The tasting menu was good value and will return again! ”
